Marieke Nijkamp

Marieke Nijkamp is a born and bred Dutch and an through and through Twentenaar (region of the Netherlands). She tells stories from a young age and as a real bookworm she reads everything. She has also always been fascinated by language, ideas, and fantasy. Marieke is a writer, dreamer, globetrotter, geek.

Mariekes debut novel was published in the United States in 2016. This young adult story, which has been in the New York Times bestseller list for over sixty weeks, follows four teenagers during the 54 minutes of a shooting at a high school. The Dutch edition of This Is Where It Ends, with the title 54 Minuten, was published in September 2016 at HarperCollins Holland and won the Hebban Award voor Beste Young Adult.

Her second book, Before I Let Go, is a young adult mystery that takes place in the cruel winter of Alaska. In Dutch, the book appeared as Voor Ik Je Loslaat.

Taran Matharu

Taran Matharu is a New York Times bestselling author. Born in London in 1990 he found a passion for reading at an early age. Because of his love for books, the ambition to write his own stories grew at a young age.

After his studies he started traveling all over the world and during one of these trips he started writing the 'Summoner' books; a fantasy series that can be described as Harry Potter meets Pokemon, but then with demons.
