The Italian artist Angelo Stano is a guest at Dutch Comic Con. Stano is known in Italy and far beyond from the cult series "Dylan Dog". In Utrecht he signs his new Tex Willer western entitled "Painted Desert", which is published by HUM! appears as a stock market premiere.
His debut as a comic illustrator was in 1973 with a production by Jules Verne's Van de Aaarde to the Moon. But really broke through after he was chosen by Sergio Bonelli Editore to draw the first edition of Dylan Dog, a comic written by Tiziano Sclavi. Stano will be leaving Milan all weekend and will sign both days. The album "Painted Desert" is available as a regular softcover at € 8.95 but there is also a special exhibition edition, limited to 100 pieces as hardcover with red linen back.
