Far too many animals still have an extremely poor life in the Netherlands. They are locked up in cages that are too small, sometimes seriously abused, injured on the street or simply left to fend for themselves. This can and may not happen.
The DierenLot Foundation is very concerned about the fate of these animals and would like to help them. We believe it is important to support local and regional, small and medium-sized organizations in particular. Because for them it’s by far the most difficult to finance aid. Think for example of shelters or other organizations in the country that are concerned with saving animals.
They often need financial support to pay for renovations, purchase of equipment, medicines or, for example, pay for operations. These are just a few examples.
But transport is also a common problem. Organizations often drive around with ambulances, delivery vans or even private cars, which in terms of maintenance become too expensive to use. The costs of repairs often rise to the point where organizations can’t afford it anymore. We also want to offer help with this problem! By giving our own DierenLot animal ambulances on loan for free. So that often old and expensive rolling stock can be replaced and work can be done more efficiently.
Ultimately, our goal is to help as many animals in need this way!
