covid-19 FAQ for exhibitors

The Dutch government has decided to no longer allow events in the Netherlands until September 1. Because of this we are forced to move the anniversary edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con again.

In a legal sense, the exhibitors and Easyfairs have an agreement with each other. Under the Terms and Conditions, Easyfairs has the right to postpone Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Easyfairs relies on a situation of force majeure. The virus spreads unpredictably and uncontrollably, causing developments to take place outside Easyfairs’ control. So force majeure, with an inevitable choice as a result.

As described in article 15 of Easyfairs’ General terms and Condition, it is possible to cancel your participation. The obligation to pay your invoice remains.

Costs incurred for stand construction, transport and hotels are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Easyfairs will not offer any compensation for this. We realize that this is an additional expense for companies. Just as our exhibitors have to deal with costs, we also have to deal with large investments that we cannot claim.

Yes that is allowed. This situation is mentioned in the General terms and Conditions, in which we rely on force majeure.

This is still uncertain. We are currently discussing the best possible floorplan of the event. Of course we will inform everybody involved if something will change.

Yes, the additional orders remain.

Yes that’s right. The Spring Edition will be moved to 21 & 22 November and will from now on be called the Anniversary Edition.
