Julian Totino Tedesco was born in 1982, in the Argentinian city: Buenos Aires where he has been living ever since. The cover artist studied under guidance of Ariel Olivetti, Juan Bobillo and Marcelo Sosa. Julian started his professional career working for movie studios and advertising. He also started creating concept-art and backgrounds for animated movies.
In 2009, the Argentinian started working for “BOOM! Studios” (= an American comic-book publisher). He started creating interior art, and since then, he also picked up creating cover art for several titles.
During the last few years and up until today, Julian is exclusively creating cover art for “Marvel”, “DC Comics”, “Dark Horse”, “Valiant” and “BOOM! Studios”, among others.
Finally, in 2018, Totino was nominated for an Eisner Award for “Best cover artist” for his work on the “Hawkeye” book published by Marvel Comics.
