Biography

Trevor Hairsine is a British Comic Artist who entered the British industry in 1994 through the Judge Dredd Megazine – the magazine he worked extensively with.

He attracted Marvel’s attention in 2002 with his work for an indie comic called ‘Cla$$war’. Later that year he started working on Marvel’s Captain America: “The Extremists”. Marvel Editor-in-Chief, Joe Quesada, appointed Trevor one of Marvel Comics ‘Young Guns’ in 2005. (A group of artists who have the qualities and potential to become “a future superstar penciller”).

Until 2009 he worked exclusively for Marvel, after which he collaborated with Ed Brubaker on ‘X-men Deadly Genesis’, worked with Brian Michael Bendis on ‘Ultimate Six’ and took on ‘Ultimate Galactus Ultimate Nightmare’ with the British: Warren Ellis.

Trevor joined Valiant Entertainment in 2012 with Greg Pak, an American film director and Comic book writer, to work on ‘Eternal Warrior’ and after that he later worked on the popular mini series: “Armor Hunters: Bloodshot”, “Divinity” and “Divinity II” for several years. Trevor recently returned to DC Comics’ to illustrate the best-selling series DCeased.

Besides the Comic industry, he also painted several trade cards for Wizards of the Coast, some sets of Magic the Gathering and also created a number of Dungeons & Dragons illustrations.
