Meet these comics guests at heroes dutch comic con

Comics are indispensable on Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Because of that, we have introduced the “comics area”. Besides various exhibitors offering all kinds of comics and merchandise, you can meet you favourite comics artists and editors. Come and take a look at their work and, if interested, buy unique pieces. 

Arthur Adams

Arthur Adams is an award-winning artist who became an immediate fan favorite as the penciler on the critically acclaimed 1985 Longshot mini-series. His decades-spanning career has included cover and interior work on a very long list of impressive titles.

Carlos Pacheco

The Spanish Carlos Pacheco has been one of the most important comic artists in the last two decades. He started doing covers for Spanish editions of Marvel Comics until the opportunity to work for Marvel UK arose.

CAFU

CAFU worked for Marvel on comic books like Black Panther. He was named by DC Comics as one of the artists responsible for the New-52, a relaunch of DC Comic, with The Grifter and Blackhawk’s titles. He recently returned to Marvel, where he illustrates the best-selling Valkyrie: Jane Foster.

Kurt Busiek

Kurt Busiek broke in to comics in 1982, selling his first scripts to both DC and Marvel Comics within a month of graduating college. But he didn’t break through until 1994 with Marvels’ “The groundbreaking mini-series” he did with painter Alex Ross.

Joyce Chin

Joyce Chin has been working in comics since 1995 when she penciled several issues of Guy Gardner: Warrior for DC Comics.

Alanna Smith

Alanna Smith is an associate editor in the Avengers office at Marvel Comics. She currently works on MS. Marvel, Ironheart and most books in the Avengers and Fantastic Four families, including Captain America, Tony Stark, Iron Man and the upcoming Doctor Doom.

Chris Sprouse

Chris Sprouse has drawn everything from Action Comics to the Uncanny X-Men, but he’s probably best known for his work on Wildstorm/DC Comics’ Tom Strong series.

Brad Walker

Brad Walker has worked for both DC Comics and Marvel. He’s mostly known for his work on Batman: Detective Comics for DC Comics.
