Hij begon met strips te tekenen toen hij nog een kind was. Zijn grote doorbraak kwam toen hij de redacteur van Grimjack een envelop stuurde met tekeningen, precies op het juiste moment. Hij kreeg meteen de kans om zijn eerste professionele stripserie van vier nummers te tekenen. Daarna ging hij naar DC om te werken aan strips zoals Hellblazer en Animal Man, en daarna naar Marvel, waar hij Doom 2099 tekende.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Na een tijdje zijn eigen boeken te hebben geschreven en geschilderd, keerde hij terug naar de mainstream met een succesvolle serie op Animal Man voor DC Comics.<\/p>\n<p>Steve stond bekend om zijn harde, soms lelijke horrorwerken, maar veranderde plotseling naar humor met zijn herinterpretatie van The Flintstones. Ook werkte hij aan Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass, die beide meerdere prijzen wonnen (Eisner awards).<\/p>\n<p>Hij werkte ook aan zijn eigen stripseries en vorig jaar werd zijn Peacemaker Limited Series erg populair bij lezers.<\/p>\n<p>Wat komt hierna?
