Of je hem nu kent uit het X-Men-universum, The Rookie of een van je favoriete thrillers: dankzij zijn veelzijdige rollen heeft Shawn Ashmore zich in verschillende genres bewezen als een getalenteerd acteur.<\/strong><\/p>

Shawn Ashmore in X-Men<\/h2>

De Canadese acteur Shawn Ashmore brak al vroeg in zijn carri\u00e8re internationaal door met zijn rol als Bobby Drake, beter bekend als Iceman, in de zeer succesvolle X-Men-filmreeks. Hij speelde deze iconische mutant in X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) en X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). Zijn rol in X2 leverde hem in 2004 de MTV Movie Award voor Beste Mannelijke Doorbraak op. Daarnaast werd hij samen met Anna Paquin genomineerd voor Beste Kus.<\/p>

The Rookie en andere rollen<\/h2>

Momenteel is Ashmore te zien als advocaat Wesley Evers in de populaire ABC-serie The Rookie. Hij speelt deze rol al sinds het eerste seizoen en groeide in de loop der jaren uit tot een van de hoofdrolspelers. Ook buiten het politiebureau heeft Ashmore een veelzijdig filmografie opgebouwd. Zo speelde hij de rol van Max in de psychologische thriller The Huntsman en was hij te zien in de horrorfilm It Feeds, de thriller Just Breathe en de videogame Quantum Break.<\/p>
