Has your Cosplay been in your closet since last spring? Then this is your chance to take the stage and shine on the catwalk with your creation. During Heroes Dutch Comic Con online you can participate in the cosplay contest! We invite you to be present at our location in Gorinchem on Saturday 6 Feb.
Regulations Cosplay Contest
Important information for participants in the Cosplay Contest:
- The cosplay contest will be held on February 6 between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Make sure you are available to come to our location in Gorinchem.
- Costumes that could be perceived as obscene, insulting, naked or potentially inciting hatred are not allowed. All costumes must provide adequate coverage to be worn in public. Heroes Dutch Comic Con Online is an online event for all ages and therefore children can also be present. This rule naturally applies to all visitors.
- All solo participants are expected to perform an act of maximum 90 seconds.
- Due to COVID-19, only solo performances are allowed.
- Costumes must be based on existing characters. Self-designed and derived characters are not allowed.
- The act will be judged on both costume and performance. Both elements are assessed equally.
- Costumes purchased for 50% retail are allowed this edition.
- Genderbend cosplay is allowed, but the costume must represent the character as faithfully as possible.
- A host will ask you several questions on stage.
- You can win prizes with this contest. You cannot register for a specific category.

Discover what games will be released and you should not miss. Show your skills and join the battle with fellow gamers during a gaming contest or interact with several professional gamers.

Enter the world of cosplay and participate in the contest through your social media account, follow masterclasses or listen to interviews and panels with the great cosplayers this universe knows.
