In collaboration with TAITO Corporation (the people behind Space Invaders), Fred Perry takes video game sneakers to another level. The laurel wreath (yes that’s the symbol of Fred Perry) must resist an invasion of the crab, squid and octopus. A true homage to nostalgia from the 80s. Fred Perry uses their Spencer leather tennis shoes for this. The sneakers come with the same color stitching and Space Invaders print on the brim, tongue, laces and even the insoles. Still, the laurel wreath holds up amid all this alien violence, giving the pair a signature finish in popping contrast.
