What is Heroes Dutch Comic Con?

Welcoming over 55.000 visitors per edition, Heroes Dutch Comic Con is the largest comic con in the Netherlands. During this two-day event all kinds of fandoms come together and people can share and express their passion with other enthusiasts. Since there are so many fandoms, Heroes Dutch Comic Con offers a various programme about movies, series, Comics, Cosplay, games, superheroes, fantasy / science fiction and anime. There’s so much to see, do and experience and most important: it’s loaded with fun!

Let yourself be entertained by our programme or become part of it by wearing a cosplay outfit yourself. Get under the skin of your favorite character and transform yourself. Even if you don’t wear cosplay, you can fully enjoy all the other visitors wearing amazing outfits. At this entertaining event full of amazing experiences and activities you can meet several Special Guests such as actors from movies and series, shop all kinds of merchandise in the biggest geeky market in the country, play tons of games, enjoy various panels by guests from the comics industry and so on!

To cut a long story short: it’s a place where fans can enjoy a weekend full of entertainment and indulge themselves in the all geeky things they like. Heroes Dutch Comic Con is something you really have to experience for yourself. The unique and amazing atmosphere will get you hooked instantly.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT HEROES DUTCH COMIC CON

Meet your heroes at Heroes Dutch Comic Con! At every edition several special guests are eager to meet you, such as Hollywood actors starring in movies and series, famous cosplayers, voice actors, comic artists and authors. Immortalise your meeting in the photobooth, get an autograph in the guests square or attend one of the Q&A panels at the main stage and ask your burning questions. For the biggest fans there is a Meet & Greet opportunity with some of our special guests!

Cosplay is a cornerstone of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Enjoy the visitors that are dressed up as their favourite character or get entertained by the best national and international cosplayers during the Cosplay Contest or the Cosplay Catwalk at the Main Stage. Visit the fanclubs or meet other cosplayers during the Cosplay & Fan Meet Ups. Heroes Dutch Comic Con is one of the very few events where visitors are a major part of the programme just by visiting the event. Whether you are dressed up or not, you'll have a great time at Heroes Dutch Comic Con anyway!

Comics are the foundation of many popular series, movies and games and are indispensable at Heroes Dutch Comic Con. In our Comics Area you’ll find various exhibitors and publishers and you can meet your favorite comic artists, editors and authors from all over the world. Have a look at their impressive work, buy yourself an unique piece of artwork or join one of the panels or workshops.

Every edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con one hall is completely filled with awesome gaming content. Video games, board games, retro games, card games, you name it! Challenge your friends in the Free 2 Play Area, show your skills in one of the esports tournaments, visit the exhibitors or go to the Gaming Stage for a varied programme such as Q&A's with voice actors, workshops, masterclasses and esports finals. You’ll never get bored!

Heroes Dutch Comic Con welcomes you to the biggest geeky market in the country: the Dealer Hall. The place to be to shop and buy new items for your collection. The Dealer Hall is packed with exhibitors selling loads of different merchandise. Don’t forget to visit the Artist Alley too, because incredible talents are eager to show their amazing artwork and unique items to you. Find out what the Dealer Hall has to offer you. However, we do have to warn you: it’s almost impossible to go home empty-handed!

Heroes Dutch Comic Con is all about having fun. You won’t have time to get bored, because there's so much to do that you'll probably need an organizer to experience our full programme. Did you know several major film studio's will be attending the Con to present their upcoming movies and that you can watch series episodes in the Fox Cinema?
