Regarding insurance and liability, we have established a number of matters within Easyfairs:
Stand insurance
Easyfairs offers a collective stand insurance, which exhibitors can join at an attractive rate. For all questions regarding the collective stand insurance, we refer you to: www.inevexco.co.uk.
Welding on the stand
Gas cylinders
- Only a working supply is allowed on the exhibition floor, i.e., 1 bottle secured against tipping over.
- The remaining stock must be stored in a ventilated, locked space separate from the building, at least 15 metres from the premises.
- At the end of each event day, the valves on the cylinders must be closed.
Protection
- Work areas must be well shielded from visitors by means of a barrier made of hard plastic or glass. Visitors must not come into contact with heated parts or open flames.
- The floor must also be protected, for example by a rubber mat.
- It is mandatory to have a fire extinguisher and fire blanket at the stand.
- Demonstrations must be conducted by trained personnel.
- Electric welding fume extraction is compulsory.
