Shala Nyx is an Actress rooted to South London and her early career began as a stage actress in London’s prestigious West End, she has received many accolades for her theatre and humanitarian efforts in shows such as ‘Kabul Goes Pop’ and ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ (UK National Tours) to name a few.
Shala’s body of work spans internationally in popular television shows such as Casualty and Eastenders (BBC), and for film most recently, ‘The Old Guard’ (Netflix), and Knock Down Ginger (BFI Special Select). As a voice over artist Shala is popular for providing the voices for some of the world’s leading games, brands, animation series, audiobooks and documentaries. Shala plays the lead role of ‘Sciel’ in the critically acclaimed ‘Expedition 33’ (Sandfall Games) and has just been announced, in ‘Game of Thrones’ (Warner Brothers). Shala’s motion capture and voice over expertise can be seen as Devella Fountainhead in the multi-award award winning ‘Baldur’s Gate III’ (Larian Studios), She plays the Cyberdoc Farida for Cyberpunk 77: Phantom Liberty, whilst taking the lead role as Polly in ‘Harmony the Fall of Reverie’.
Shala is also popular in the BATFA award winning Octonauts (Amazon Studios) among more. Shala was the in app voice for the UEFA Euro Championships 2024 and recent branded clients include Ebay, UEFA, Nike, Polaroid, Spotify, BBC, ITV, EA Sports, NAACP and many more.
