Utrecht, November 21, 2024 — This weekend, the hugely popular pop culture event Heroes Dutch Comic Con will once again take over Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Today, the organization announced that one of the previously confirmed special guests, Elliot Page, has had to cancel his attendance due to personal reasons.

The organization expresses its regret over this news:
“While our special guests are also human and unexpected events can arise, it’s always a huge disappointment, especially for the fans. They eagerly look forward to meeting their idol, and it’s heartbreaking when that’s no longer possible. We are exploring opportunities to invite Elliot in the future.”

Special Guests
This weekend, the Jaarbeurs will be buzzing with hundreds of activities, exhibitors, and well-known personalities. Special Guests Graham McTavish, Matthew Mercer, Joseph Morgan, Persia White, Olivier Richters, and Mark Williams will all be in attendance. Additionally, world-renowned Comic Artists such as Andres Guinaldo, Brittany Holzherr, Cary Nord, Kevin Nowlan, Lee Bermejo, Manuel Garcia, RB Silva, Tomm Coker, and Zoe Thorogood will be present to meet fans and showcase their work.

Visitors who purchased Photobooth and/or Meet & Greet tickets for Elliot Page will be contacted by the organization and will receive a refund.
