Carlotta
Meet your Gaming Stage host: @lottahosho ! 🎮💥
”Hi everyone! I’m Lotta Hosho — a 22-year-old energetic and passionate esports host from sunny Mallorca, Spain! I currently work in the communications and content department at mCon esports, where I manage our social media, create short-form content, and engage with our amazing gaming community. I’m also one of mCon’s League of Legends shoutcasters, covering competitions and co-streams with a whole lot of hype, storytelling, and fun.
I’ve always loved League — from the game itself to the music, the shows, and even Teamfight Tactics. But what really draws me in is the narrative side of esports: the passion, the competition, and the incredible stories behind every player. That same passion is what made me fall in love with traditional sports, especially football — and yes, I’m a huge Barça fan! Força Barça! 🔵🔴
Right now, I’m studying creative business at Breda University of Applied Sciences and recently graduated in esports management at Unisport Management School. I’ve also just started a master’s in sports journalism and communication — because sharing stories and celebrating esports is what I live for.
Outside of esports, I’m a total anime lover (Black Clover and Kamisama Hajimemashita are my faves), and I proudly rep the K-pop fandom — TWICE stan forever! 💖
You may have seen me hosting local competitions or on stage at Heroes Made in Asia — and now, I can’t wait to bring even more energy to Heroes Dutch Comic Con as one of your Gaming Stage hosts! I’m known for being super hyper and optimistic, always smiling, laughing, and jumping around. One of my favorite quotes is from Annie the Musical:
“You are never fully dressed without a smile.”
See you soon at the Adventure & Gaming Stage — let’s make this an unforgettable weekend!” 🎉👾 – Carlotta
Luca
Meet @luca_vd_eng – Game Stage Host at HDCC! 🎤✨
”Hey there! I’m Luca van der Eng, 21 years old. Once upon a time, I dreamed of becoming a professional Rocket League player. That dream didn’t quite work out—but it led me to an equally amazing path in esports! 🎮🕹️
By a lucky twist of fate, I found myself stepping into the entertainment world as a shoutcaster, and now you’ll regularly find me on stage as a host! What started as a fun side hustle — commentating student matches — has turned into a serious gig. I’ve hosted stages at Wish Outdoor 2024, Heroes Made in Asia 2025, and shoutcast for professional esports teams. Today, I’m proud to be the Broadcast Manager at @mconesports.
Though my schedule is busier than ever, I’m still a passionate gamer with a love for Rocket League, CS\:GO, EAFC, and racing games. Outside of gaming, I do a bit of everything — I’m a PADI Divemaster, skilled skier, and love sports like tennis, hockey, and volleyball. I’m always chasing the next adventure! 🔥
I’m super excited to co-host the Gaming Stage at Heroes Dutch Comic Con with @lottahosho — see you there!” – Luca
