All players get a new partner named Palamutes in the game. These are personalised ‘’Canyne’’- companions who give the players opportunities to attack while the ‘’Felyne’’ palico’s return as helpers who can heal other characters.

When progressing in the game you will defeat various monsters. You could use the items from these defeated enemies to create new and unique weapons and armours. These armours will help you to go into battle with even larger monsters. Hunters can go into these missions alone or together with a maximum of four players online. Thanks to the flexibility of the Nintendo Switch systems, every monster Hunter can go hunting everywhere and with anyone.
