The voice actors are scheduled to appear during the extra long Summer edition on 20, 21 and 22 June at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
We’re glad to announce an exclusive panel during the Preview Night on June 20th! Samantha Béart and Dave Jones, both actors from Baldur’s Gate 3, one of the most popular video games of the moment, will travel to Utrecht for this extra-long edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Although Béart and Jones will be present during the entire weekend, only during the Preview Night a special panel will be organised in which the actors will share inside information about the game and their work as voice actors for the characters Karlach and Halsin.
This summer edition, Heroes Dutch Comic Con will open its doors for the second time for an extra evening: Preview Night. On 20 June, a small group of visitors will be the very first to have a taste of the event. They will also be given the chance to attend exclusive panels and purchase limited items in the Dealer Hall. Today, Heroes Dutch Comic Con announces that Samantha Béart and Dave Jones will be guests during this evening.
An exclusive look at the world of Baldur’s Gate 3
Béart and Jones will host a one-off panel on their work for Baldur’s Gate 3, a Dungeons & Dragons-affiliated roleplaying video game. Béart took on the role of barbarian Karlach, which later resulted in a BAFTA nomination for their role as the character. Jones took on the role of Halsin, a prisoner and accomplished companion. The actors will take fans along in their behind-the-scenes stories and divulge what makes their characters so special. Fans can ask pressing questions and learn how the actors brought this imaginative world to life and have a chance to win an exclusive poster with signatures. In addition, they will also be present during the other days of Heroes Dutch Comic Con to hand out autographs, meet fans and snap a photo with them.
But there is more!
On Friday night, no less than four halls will open with a unique Preview Night program. This includes the opening of the Dungeons & Dragons area. Here, visitors can play their favourite tabletop game to their heart’s content, participate in workshops and obtain special miniatures to enhance their gameplay. You can also find the stands of GlassStaff, Dobbelgangers and Project Epos, which not only offer unique items but are also available to answer questions. The Trading Card Game (TCG) and boardgame area are also worth a visit for anyone fond of board games and trading card games like Pokémon.

Collectors who love unique collectibles can indulge in the Dealer Hall. Visitors to the Preview Night are the very first to shop at more than 350 stands. Special items will be offered for the occasion, available only during this Preview Night. From beautiful merchandise gadgets to film-realistic swords, the Dealer Hall is the place to be for every collector.
