With more than 80 films and numerous television appearances, Sam J. Jones has built a legendary career in genre entertainment. He is best known for portraying fan-favorite heroes such as Flash Gordon, The Spirit, The Highwayman, and “the Bounty Hunter” in Stargate SG-1: Deadman Switch. Modern audiences also know and love him for his unforgettable comedic performances in Ted and Ted 2, where he brilliantly plays an exaggerated version of himself.

Sam J. Jones brings a unique combination of experience to the film industry with his remarkable personal background. He has been a martial artist for 47 years and holds a black belt in Hapkido, he has worked as an actor for 48 years, and Sam has served as a United States Marine for over 50 years. This rare combination of military service, martial arts training and decades of acting experience gives him a distinctive perspective both on screen and on stage.
Beyond film and television, Sam J. Jones is also an acclaimed public speaker. With hundreds of appearances around the world, he shares a straightforward, life‑changing message that resonates with audiences of every age, culture and background.
