We have an important update regarding our Special Guest lineup. Unfortunately, due to work commitments and a change in schedule, Mekia Cox is no longer able to attend Heroes Dutch Comic Con and has therefore cancelled her appearance.
We know this is disappointing news for many fans who were looking forward to meeting Mekia, best known for her role as Nyla Harper in the hit series The Rookie. While we’re saddened that she can no longer join us, we completely understand that professional obligations sometimes take priority.
What does this mean for ticket holders?
Visitors who purchased a Mekia Cox Solo Photobooth ticket will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
Visitors who purchased a Mekia Cox & Deric Augustine Duo Photobooth ticket will also receive a full refund of the ticket price.
Affected ticket holders will receive further information by e-mail regarding the refund process.
The Rookie is still coming to Heroes Dutch Comic Con
The good news is that fans of The Rookie will still have the opportunity to meet Deric Augustine, who plays Miles Penn in the popular police drama.
As one of the newest additions to the cast, Deric has quickly become a fan favorite, and we’re excited to welcome him to Heroes Dutch Comic Con next weekend. Visitors will have the chance to meet him during autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and more.
