Dungeons & Dragons and LEGO seem like such a natural mashup. So it is amazing to see these brand team up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of D&D coming up in 2024.
The teams at LEGO Ideas and Wizards of the Coast kicked off a contest to find the best fan-built crossover. Over six-hundred entries have been narrowed down to only five. And now, you can vote on your favorite till December 12,2022 on the LEGO IDEAS site!
The Fan Vote phase is intended to help the Judges see fans interest in specific designs, and validate fan excitement for Dungeons & Dragons. The Judges will ultimately choose which model from the Fan Vote phase will become a LEGO® IDEAS™ set, regardless of the number of Fan Votes obtained, although lots of votes certainly helps!
LEGO set designers will take the original submission and refine it into a LEGO product that’s ready for release.
