Jochem van Gool

We’re excited to announce that Jochem van Gool is joining us at Heroes Dutch Comic Con!

Jochem is an internationally acclaimed artist based in Belgium, known for his incredible work as a traditional animator, character designer, and illustrator. He’s brought magic to the screen with his animation on Warner Bros.’ Space Jam 2 and as lead animator for the beloved Netflix film Klaus.Beyond animation, Jochem has illustrated for major board games and publishers like Hasbro, Lucky Duc, and 999 Games. Currently, he works as a card and concept artist for Disney Lorcana, where he illustrated stunning cards such as:

🦁 Mufasa – Ruler of Pride Rock (Enchanted)

Matthew is known for his breathtaking card illustrations in the world of Lorcana (Elsa, The Beast Is Mine, Hades, Ariel, and many more!).

With a unique style and deep storytelling in every piece, his work has captured the hearts of Disney fans and TCG players alike. Whether you’re a collector, a player, or an art lover — this is your chance to meet the talent behind some of your favorite Lorcana cards!
