From co-writing Hellraiser with the legendary Clive Barker to editing some of DC’s biggest titles, Ben Meares is bringing Gotham to HDCC Winter 2025!

Ben Meares has been working in Editorial at DC Comics since 2019, starting as a temp and working his way up from Assistant Editor to Editor in the Gotham Group. He currently edits such titles as Detective Comics, Batman and Robin and Gotham By Gaslight: A League For Justice, in addition to co-editing The New Gods. He began working in comics professionally in 2013, co-writing the Hellraiser 2013 Annual alongside Hellraiser creator Clive Barker. He spent years as a freelance comic book writer, contributing stories for Zenescope, Heavy Metal, Stan Lee’s Pow! Entertainment and others before deciding to go into editing full-time. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
