About the poster

Something seems to be going on in Utrecht… 👀 Is that the Dom Toren rising behind the waves? Who’s that figure surfing through the canals with royal confidence? 🌊 Oh wait—that’s not just anyone—that’s the King of the Seven Seas himself: Aquaman!

But he’s not alone. Flying just behind him are three unmistakable silhouettes… Could it be…? Yes, it’s DC’s legendary Trinity: Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman! A true superpowered gathering, captured at just the right moment thanks to the artistic magic of John Timms.

More about the artist: John Timms

From Costa Rica to the pages of DC Comics, John Timms has brought countless heroes to life. With a background in graphic design (UCR) and animation (Goethe Institute), he co-founded Marte Studio and became a key figure in establishing Veritas University’s animation school. For over a decade, John has worked exclusively with DC Comics, contributing to iconic titles like Harley Quinn, Batman, Superman, and more.

Currently, he’s teaming up with Jeremy Adams on Aquaman, while his earlier collaboration with Jason Aaron on Superman Superstars has already cemented his place as one of DC’s most exciting artists.

At HDCC Winter Edition 2025, John will not only be present as a Comic Guest, but you will also be able to obtain a free copy of the official Heroes Dutch Comic Con Winter 2025 poster at his table!
