Cosplay Guest announcement: MarkLykos is coming to HDCC!

MarkLykos has been a cosplayer since 2015. He has made many cosplays with his craft skills. Subsequently he specialized in styling wigs, making it a real job. His most famous cosplays include Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, and Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu jaisen.

Cosplay is a key element of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. You’ll experience this even before the event has started. Whether you are coming by car, train, bicycle, UFO or dragon, you’ll probably see and meet lots of cosplayers heading towards the event. We can announce the third and last Cosplay Judge and that’s none other than Andrasta! Andrasta will judge the cosplays during the Cosplay Contest together with Rose and Taryn. With this announcement, the cosplay line up is complete!

Winner of the cosplay from your closet competition: FennaCosplay

We organised a cosplay competition on our Facebook page on the 12th of April. This competition only had one rule; The cosplay had to be made with clothes from your wardrobe. When you entered the competition, you were eligible to win an interview about your cosplay story on the Heroes Dutch Comic Con website. A lot of cosplayers participated. However, in the end, we only chose three winners.  Finally, we could reveal our last winner namely Fenna cosplay. In this article, you could find everything about her cosplay journey and what her biggest challenges have been.

Winner of the cosplay from your closet competition: Praime Creations

<p We, Heroes Dutch Comic Con, organised a cosplay competition on our Facebook on the 12th of April. This competition had only one rule; The cosplay should be made with clothes from your closet. The winner of this competition won the opportunity to get an interview about their cosplay journey on the Heroes Dutch Comic Con website. Many cosplayers participated however, we chose only three winners. Last week, we revealed the first winner and today we can finally reveal the second winner, namely Praime Creations! Visitors in the spotlight: Eugene van Houtum

Eugene van Houtum is a cosplayer who is a regular visitor of HDCC. In 2019 he received the diagnosis of MS. However, despite the diagnosis, his passion for creating and wearing cosplay remains as strong as before. We decided to talk to him to learn more about him, MS, and his connection with HDCC and cosplay.

Two weeks ago, we asked you on Facebook to post your favourite cosplay photo. We did this to put all of our talented cosplayers in the spotlight. Within a week, we received more than 200 reactions. From these posts, we chose our favourite cosplay photos.

French cosplayer Leobane will be part of the Cosplay Contest jury

The international cosplayer Leobane from France will be part of the jury of the Cosplay Contest during Heroes Dutch Comic Con.
