Harry Potter twins James and Oliver Phelps will be present during the exclusive Heroes Dutch Comic Con Preview Night on June 21st.
James and Oliver Phelps, known for their roles as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, are coming to Heroes Dutch Comic Con! The twins will be guests during the event’s exclusive preview night, taking place on Friday evening (June 21st). Especially for a select group of Heroes Dutch Comic Con fans, a unique experience is being organized on this extra evening. Visitors can take photos with James and Oliver Phelps, get an autograph, or ask them questions during the Q&A on the main stage.
James and Oliver Phelps became world-famous overnight with their roles as the Weasley twins in the immensely popular Harry Potter film series. For ten years, the actors appeared as Fred and George Weasley in all eight films. Since then, the duo has been mainly focused on producing their Normal Not Normal podcast, where they speak with friends who also began acting at a young age. Additionally, they developed Fantastic Friends, a docuseries where the twins explore a different world city with a special guest in each episode. The second season premiered last year on HBO Max.
Exclusive Program
For the first time, Heroes Dutch Comic Con will not only open its doors on Saturday and Sunday, but also on Friday evening. On this exclusive evening, a select group of Heroes Dutch Comic Con fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a program that is not offered on Saturday and Sunday. They will have access to special panels, unique masterclasses, and get the first look at fun stands. The Phelps brothers will only be present on Friday evening, not the rest of the weekend.
The organization also announced today that the online comedy show The Hillywood Show will be present throughout the weekend. With 1.8 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, sisters Hilly and Hannah Hinti entertain their audience with funny parodies of the biggest movies and series. During the preview night, visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions to the duo during a Q&A on the main stage. The Hillywood Show will be present on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
The creators of the brand-new film Superkrachten voor je hoofd will host a special panel and masterclass. Wouter de Jong, Dylan Haegens, and Marit Haegens-Brugman will not only talk about bringing a film to life, but also answer questions from fans and show exclusive first footage. The film, for which several scenes were filmed during the last winter edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con, will be released in theaters on July 10th. Make sure to be present and receive an exclusive signed poster.
But there’s also a lot to experience for comic and game enthusiasts! Joanne Starer will present her book, Total Suplex of the Heart, for the first time to the world on the main stage. In the Cozy Corner, Andrew Wildman will create a live drawing of a Transformers artwork, and Yancey Labat will take visitors through the drawing process of the official Heroes Dutch Comic Con poster. Those eager to learn about Dungeons & Dragons can also satisfy their curiosity here; during the GlassStaff panel, visitors can battle each other for great prizes and learn how to become the best Dungeon Master!
