GameForce Joins Heroes Dutch Comic Con in Winter 2025

UTRECHT – Event organizer Easyfairs, the company behind Heroes Dutch Comic Con, has acquired GameForce, the largest gaming expo in the Netherlands. GameForce showcases cutting-edge technology, new games, and hosts competitive gaming tournaments. Visitors can also explore a variety of gaming merchandise. This strategic acquisition solidifies Easyfairs’ leadership in pop culture events across the Benelux region.

Starting with the Winter 2025 edition, GameForce will become an integral part of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. With over 55,000 attendees per event, Heroes Dutch Comic Con is the largest pop culture convention in the Netherlands.

Under the “HEROES” brand, Easyfairs has already organized a series of highly successful events across the Benelux. These include Dutch Comic Con and Made in Asia in Jaarbeurs Utrecht, as well as FACTS, Heroes Comic Con, and Made in Asia at Brussels Expo. The integration of GameForce into its portfolio strengthens Easyfairs’ presence in the gaming industry and aligns with its growth strategy. “GameForce attracts an audience that complements our events perfectly,” said Boet Havenaar, organizer of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. “We are extremely proud of this acquisition.”

Both Heroes events and GameForce are known for their community-driven atmosphere. They provide fans with unique opportunities to meet global stars, collect exclusive items from hundreds of vendors, and enjoy themed activities and live shows. Havenaar highlighted the growing role of gaming within Heroes Dutch Comic Con: “Gaming has been a growing element of our events for years. With this acquisition, we can elevate the gaming experience for tens of thousands of visitors. The future is bright and exciting for both GameForce and Heroes events.”

In October 2024, Easyfairs showcased its ability to bring pop culture and gaming together at Brussels Expo. During this event, GameForce ran concurrently with Made in Asia and Heroes Comic Con, marking a successful collaboration. This acquisition builds upon that partnership, paving the way for an even stronger offering in the years to come.
