Dean Norris is an American actor renowned for his portrayal of DEA agent Hank Schrader on AMC’s critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad (2008–2013).
A graduate of Harvard College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Norris has built a prolific career with over 150 film and television credits. His notable roles include James “Big Jim” Rennie in CBS’s Under the Dome (2013–2015) and Clay “Uncle Daddy” Husser in TNT’s Claws (2017–2022). Norris has also appeared in films such as Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Total Recall (1990), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Death Wish (2018). In 2020, he reprised his role as Hank Schrader in the Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul. Beyond acting, Norris co-founded the Norris Performing Arts Center in Murrieta, California, and launched Schraderbräu, a craft beer inspired by his Breaking Bad character’s homebrew.
