In March 2022 it finally happened: a real Mandalorian Wedding took place during Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Frank and Charlotte said “I do” and celebrated this together with friends, family and many Comic Con visitors.
For the first time in Dutch history, a Mandalorian–Star Wars themed wedding took place. A unique highlight in the 10-year history of Heroes Dutch Comic Con.
The official ceremony was held in the DCC College, exclusively for invited guests. Afterwards, the bridal couple were escorted to the Main Stage by Clan Diryc Vhetin, Dune Sea Base, R2 Builders and Dutch Garrison. There, the ceremony took place again, but this time entirely in cosplay.
In the meantime, Frank and Charlotte have been happily married for four years and have had a beautiful daughter.
“The official ceremony was small and intimate, exactly as we had hoped. And then the ceremony on the Main Stage, how awesome was that! So many people attended. The sound you all made when we reached the Main Stage… I still get a smile on my face when I think back to it. The honor guard that was formed for us was such a special moment that we will never forget!”
