Shawn Ashmore is joining Heroes Dutch Comic Con as the next Special Guest! Whether you know him from the X-Men universe, The Rookie or your favorite thriller films, Shawn Ashmore’s diverse roles have made him a standout talent across multiple genres.

Shawn Ashmore in X-Men

Canadian actor Shawn Ashmore made a major international impact early in his career when he took on the role of Bobby Drake, better known as Iceman, in the highly successful X-Men film franchise. He portrayed this iconic mutant in X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). His breakout performance in X2 earned him the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Male Performance in 2004, alongside a nomination for Best Kiss together with Anna Paquin.

The Rookie and other credits

Currently, Ashmore stars as attorney Wesley Evers on ABC’s hit series The Rookie, a role he has played since season one, evolving over the years into one of the main leads. Beyond the precinct, his versatile filmography includes starring as Max in the psychological thriller The Huntsman, alongside roles in the horror film It Feeds, the thriller Just Breathe and the video game Quantum Break.
