The Preview Night is a special evening just for you, our dedicated fans of Heroes Dutch Comic Con! It’s a night where we want to give back to the community that has supported us so passionately. On Friday, June 21st, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, you’ll have the exclusive opportunity to explore a part of the event before the crowds arrive. It’s a chance to shop for your favorite merchandise in peace, discover some of the event’s highlights, and enjoy a special Friday-only program filled with the best of pop culture.

THE HILLYWOOD SHOW

With 1.8 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, sisters Hilly and Hannah Hinti entertain their audience with funny parodies of the biggest movies and series. During the preview night, visitors can be the very first to ask their questions to the two during a Q&A on the main stage. The Hillywood Show will be present on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Halls 7, 8, 9, and the outdoor area are open. Be the first to shop for your favorite merchandise in the Dealer Hall, enjoy cool performances on the Main stage, admire unique items at the Artist Alley, and visit the outdoor area filled with cool activities and food trucks.

THE CREATION OF THE HDCC POSTER, WITH YANCEY LABAT

Get your hands on a Special Poster Edition only for the Preview Night for those who attend the panel! Yancey Labat has been in the book publishing industry for over 30 years and has illustrated many children’s books, comic books and graphic novels. Although he has worked on many titles for DC Comics he is best known for his work on The New York Times best-selling series, DC Super Hero Girls.

Be the first to get the exclusive cover of Profane, created by artist Raül Fernandez, during the HDCC Preview Night! In collaboration with Raül Fernandez and one of the world's largest and most renowned publishers, boom studios, Heroes Dutch Comic Con has designed an exclusive cover for the first issue of the Profane series, available only at HDCC. This limited edition, limited to just 250 copies, is signed, inked, and colored by Raül and will only be available for purchase during the Summer Edition on June 21-22-23. You won't find this anywhere else! Raül and Profane's writer/co-creator, Peter Milligan, are Comic Guests at Heroes Dutch Comic Con 2024 Summer Edition. They will be signing and personalizing their comics and, on Saturday, June 22, they will also give a presentation of the Profane series, where you have a chance to win cool items!

WORLD PRESENTATION | TOTAL SUPLEX OF THE HEART

As part of our first-ever Preview Night, we're thrilled to hold the World Presentation of the book Total Suplex of the Heart, created by Joanne Starer and published by Humanoids! Join us for the presentation where our Special Guest, writer Joanne Starer, will share insights and answer question, along with a very special host we’ll reveal very soon. Joanne will also be signing books and being part of panels throughout the weekend. Attendees of the Total Suplex of the Heart presentation during the Preview Night will have the chance to win one of three signed and personalized copies of the book in our raffle. Plus, everyone in the audience will receive a print of the book's cover signed by Joanne herself! All this excitement will take place on the main stage. Launching in the US just two days before DCC starts, we've teamed up with The American Book Center to ensure you can get your hands on Total Suplex of the Heart before anyone else! You don't want to miss this!

LIVE DRAWING: TRANSFORMERS, with ANDREW WILDMAN

There will be a giveaway of Andrew's print and raffle of three transformers related items! For a decade Andrew worked for Marvel Comics illustrating books such as Spider-Man, The X-Men, Venom, PGI Joe and, the book that he is still best known for; Transformers. His career as an artist then took him into the world of Video Games where he designed concepts, environments and characters for several games including Aliens Vs Predator. He currently works as a storyboard artist for Film and TV on live-action shows such as Luther, The Winter King, Strike, Doctor Who, Invasion, The Alienist and The Innocents. Work on animated shows includes Ruff-Ruff, Tweet & Dave, Horrid Henry and The Clangers. He was also the co-creator and art director of Channel5's breakthrough animated TV show; Shane the Chef.

Step into the world of ”Superkrachten voor je hoofd” and film production at Heroes Dutch Comic Con 2024. Join Wouter de Jong, Dylan Haegens, and Marit Haegens-Brugman, the brilliant minds behind the new film “Superkrachten voor je hoofd” (July 10th in bios), exclusively at Heroes Dutch Comic Con as they unveil what it takes to bring a film to life! Explore the secrets behind the script – from inspiration to action. Dive into the world of costume design and learn how iconic superhero costumes are created. Be amazed by the techniques of visual effects. See exclusive footage from the film for the very first time. A fun detail; during the past winter edition, multiple scenes from the film were shot at the event. It’s a delightful experience for both young and old, so be sure to bring your children along! And who knows, you might even have a chance to win premiere tickets for “Superkrachten voor je hoofd”.

Imagine a night where you can leisurely stroll through the dealer hall, chatting with your favorite vendors and discovering unique items. Then, head to the main stage for a one-of-a-kind program featuring music, Q&A sessions, cosplay showcases, and more. The outdoor area will also be open, with plenty of fun activities, food trucks, and live music. It’s all in celebration of the 10th anniversary of our event, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

The Preview Night runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Ticket scanning will start no earlier than 60 minutes before the event begins.
