Good news for all Comic Con fans! During the press conference of June 24th, the Dutch government has announced that, from the 1st of July onwards, it will be allowed again to organize events and gatherings. We are thrilled with this news! This means that Heroes Dutch Comic Con is very likely to take place on November 21st and 22nd at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. During the press conference, it was announced that, as long as people are able to keep the 1.5 meters distance, there will be no limit to the number of visitors for any events.

With this green light from the government, we are ready to organize a fantastic anniversary edition of Dutch Comic con in November of this year. The most important thing is that we are able to provide a platform, where people can meet each other, share their passions and make new friends. After a difficult period, where uncertainty and disappointment have played a large role, we are eager to move forward. Because of the 1.5 meter distance rule, Dutch Comic Con will be slightly different this year, but that won’t make it any less fun. The event will still be all about films, series, cosplay, comics, games and entertainment.

We are facing a number of challenges while organizing such a large event this year. One of the conditions for events with unlimited people is that visitors are asked in advance whether they have any symptoms related to Covid-19. Furthermore, visitors are obliged to register for the event. Currently, we are taking a close look at the potential measures that need to be taken in order to organize the event in a safe and responsible way. More information regarding this topic will follow.

Please, keep an eye on our website and social media for more information. We can’t wait to see you on November 21st and 22nd in Jaarbeurs Utrecht to celebrate our 10th edition!
