Event volunteer - Gamemaster
It's really cool that you're interested in becoming a Dutch20 volunteer! As a volunteer at events, you will promote our fantastic hobby. Our goal is to get more people playing. How exactly do we do that, and what kind of tasks can you expect? No stress, we'll explain everything to you briefly but clearly. As a Game Master, you are responsible for hosting a session. This session will often be a beginner session to provide an introduction to a system of your choice. You can specify what you would like to host for each event. Because these are introductory sessions, you will be spending more time explaining things and getting players excited about the system and/or TTRPGs in general. We have plenty of tips & tricks to help you do that. Additionally, we have various adventures and materials to run a session. So, in principle, you don't need to bring much yourself. Except for that good mood, of course!

You may be assigned to register for sessions and/or for a spot at our eye-catcher tables. This means you will speak to people and help them schedule their session. This could be a session at our table, but also providing advice on how they can set up or continue their own session or campaign. At the eye-catcher tables, you will speak to people who show interest in the gear on display. This involves striking up a conversation and informing them about the hobby and Dutch20. You might also be able to convince them to join a session.
