A busy Jaarbeurs, many happy faces and fun activities. The Anniversary Edtion of Heroes Dutch Comic Con was a success!
Entertainment Hall
In the Entertainment Hall you could meet the Special Guests in the Guest Square, took pictures with them in the Photobooth and ask questions during their Q&A’s on the Main Stage!
In addition, the Main Stage was the stage for the Cosplay Contest and Catwalk! There were fantastic Cosplays that were judged by the Cosplay Judges!
On Saturday a official Mandalorian Wedding took place! The pair were first escorted to the Main Stage by the Mandalorians club. Dutch Garrison, Dune Sea Base and the r2 Builders of course also walked with them. At the end, a Lightsaber honorary hedge was made.
Active Heroes
At the Active Heroes Area you could participate in various workshops. For example, there was a workshop sword fighting by Zwaard & Steen and you could learn K-Pop dances by K-Motion. K-Motion also did a dance-off at the Main Stage! At Sakura-Kai you could learn Kendo and Naginata.
Gaming Area
At the stand of mCon LG UltraGear you could participate in an Overwatch, League of Legends and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. The finals were played on the Gaming Stage! In addition, you could play Pokémon Unite at the mCon stand. Overwatch voice actors, Lucie Pohl and Carolina Ravassa, and GUICE Twitch streamers came to answer all your questions on the Gaming Stage as well!
Crowd Canvas
Did you take a look at the Crowd Canvas? Here you could help with painting 2 large canvases! In the Crowd Canvas Expo you could see all the canvases of the previous HDCC editions!
Comic Artists
In the Comics Area, the Comic Artists were ready for all the visitors. You could buy prints of their artwork from them and ask them all kinds of questions. In addition, David Leach gave a portfolio review and the Comic Artists gave lectures in the Cozy Corner.
Dealer Hall
In the Dealer Hall you could find all kinds of merchandise from your favorite movies, series, animes, games etc. From replicas of swords to Funko’s of your favourite characters! Find all the exhibitors at our Exhibitor list.
It was a successful edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con and we hope to see you again at the Winter Edition on November 19th & 20th, 2022!
