This became clear from research by Veronica Superguide in collaboration with Heroes Dutch Comic Con.

In the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of November, Heroes Dutch Comic Con took place in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. With more than 40.000 visitors over the entire weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to investigate the television and film habits of the Dutchman. Veronica Superguide’s survey of 447 visitors showed, amongst other things, that almost 40% never watch linear television.

Bingewatch record of half a day
The research shows that the Dutchman has mastered bingewatching very well. Of 447 respondents, a bingewatch record is measured with an average of 11.5 hours. Nearly 10% admitted that they had watched films and/or series for more than 24 hours in a row. When they watch television or films, 41% prefer to do so in bed rather than on the couch. In addition, four out of five respondents indicated that films and series help them through difficult times.
