Harry Potter twins James and Oliver Phelps attend Heroes Dutch Comic Con exclusive Preview Night.

James and Oliver Phelps, known for their roles as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, are coming to Heroes Dutch Comic Con! The twins will attend as special guests during the event’s exclusive preview night, which takes place on Friday night (21 June). A unique experience will be organised especially for a select group of Heroes Dutch Comic Con fans on this extra night. Visitors can have their picture taken with James and Oliver Phelps, have their merchandise signed or ask them questions during the panel on the Main Stage.

James and Oliver Phelps became world-famous overnight with their roles as the Weasley twins in the immensely popular Harry Potter film series. For ten years, the actors starred as Fred and George Weasley in all eight films. Since then, the duo has mainly kept themselves busy by producing their Normal Not Normal podcast, in which the two talk to friends who also started acting at a young age. They also developed Fantastic Friends, a docuseries in which the twins discover a different part of the world each episode with a special guest. The second season premiered last year on HBO Max.

Exclusive
For the first time, Heroes Dutch Comic Con will not only open its doors on Saturday and Sunday, but also on Friday night. During this additional evening, a select group of Heroes Dutch Comic Con fans will get the chance to enjoy an exclusive programme that’s not offered on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can attend special panels, participate in unique masterclasses and be the very first to browse fun stands. The Phelps brothers will only be present on Friday night, not the rest of the weekend.

The organisation also announced that online comedy show The Hillywood Show will appear as special guests throughout the weekend. With 1.8 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, sisters Hilly and Hannah Hinti entertain audiences with funny parodies of some of the largest fandoms. Visitors can be the very first to ask their questions to the two during a Q&A on the main stage during the preview night. The Hillywood Show will be present on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

The makers of the brand new film Superkrachten voor je hoofd will drop by for a special panel and masterclass. Wouter de Jong, Dylan Haegens and Marit Haegens-Brugman will not only share what it takes to bring a film to life, but they will also answer questions from fans and preview exclusive first footage. The film, for which several scenes were shot during the last winter edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con, will be released in cinemas on 10 July. Make sure to attend the panel and receive a signed poster as a gift.

But there is also plenty to enjoy for comic book and gaming fans! On the main stage, Joanne Starer presents her book, Total Suplex of the Heart, to the world for the first time. In the Cozy Corner, Andrew Wildman will be working on a live drawing of a Transformers artwork and Yancey Labat takes visitors through the drawing process of the official Heroes Dutch Comic Con poster. Those who want to know all about Dungeons & Dragons will also feel right at home in the Cozy Corner; during GlassStaff’s panel, visitors can battle with each other to win great prizes and they will share tips on how you can become the best Dungeon Master!
