Special Guest announcement: Danny Trejo

None other than cult hero Danny Trejo, known for his iconic roles in Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn, will be a guest at the largest Comic Con in the Netherlands. Earlier, The 100 actors Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor and Star Wars actresses Amy Allen and Orli Shoshan were already announced as Special Guests during the event.

After an eventful past in which he often encountered drugs and prisons, American-Mexican Danny Trejo (1944) accidentally landed on the path of acting after being hired as a boxing instructor on the set of “Runaway Train” (1985). A small cameo in the film launched his illustrious career in Hollywood and brought him many roles as the ultimate bad guy, in part because of his rugged good looks.

Trejo has since been turning heads in the film world for decades and grew to become a true cult hero. He is best known for his roles as Razor Charlie in “From Dusk Till Dawn” (1996), Cuchillo in “Predator” (2010) and Machete in the franchise of the same name (2010, 2013). The actor is also regularly seen in small supporting roles in various franchises, from Star Wars spin-off ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ (2021) to comedy television series like ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ (2017).

Danny Trejo will be present both days of the event. You can meet him, ask questions during Q&As on the Main Stage, get an autograph and have a picture taken with him. Special Guest tickets for Danny are now available in the Heroes Dutch Comic Con webshop.
