Many exhibitors, Fanclubs and visitors have supported us through these hard times due to corona. For this reason, we introduce: Appreciation Wednesday. This indicates that for the coming weeks on Wednesday we put the groups we appreciate in the spotlight. The first we have chosen for this is a Fanclub which often could be seen at Heroes Dutch Comic Con, namely: Sakura Kai.

The anniversary edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con, scheduled for June 19 and 20, 2021, will be postponed to November 20 and 21, 2021. We as an organization believe that it will not be realistic to organize a large scale event in June. We estimate the likelihood that the vaccination process will be in an adequate state, to be small. We don’t want to leave our participants and visitors in this uncertain situation. This is why we have decided to postpone this anniversary edition to November 20 and 21, 2021.
We want to inform you about the online edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. The online event that has been planned for February 6 will be canceled. It was a hard decision to take but due to the extra security measures and the curfew, it became impossible to continue with the event and the interaction we had planned.
Escapademic has designed an escape room entirely in Heroes Dutch Comic Con style especially for you. Flashy colors, moving images and intricate assignments are all present during this escape.

Eugene van Houtum is a cosplayer who is a regular visitor of HDCC. In 2019 he received the diagnosis of MS. However, despite the diagnosis, his passion for creating and wearing cosplay remains as strong as before. The anniversary edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con, which was planned on November 21st and 22nd in Jaarbeurs Utrecht, is postponed to June 19th and 20th, 2021.
